If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv. **Job Title** Senior Systems Engineer (Unisys) **What does a successful Senior Systems Engineer (Unisys) do at Fiserv?** You will lead all Unisys ClearPath MCP OS, Network, and other major software release planning and implementations. You will also configure, plan and manage system hardware upgrades and act as a technical lead on larger projects. **What you will do:** + Implementing and maintaining procedures to collect performance metrics and produce system performance and capacity reports + Perform analyses (e.g., performs technical research to assess system performance and capacity) + Manage and maintain 24x7 uptime on the mainframes including client related connectivity, application and platform issues + Research products, solutions, technologies, and apply results to create presentations and documentation + Establish and implement auditing standards and present evidence to the auditors (internal and external) for CAS, PCI, FFIEC, and SOC assessments + Identify system performance bottlenecks and recommending performance improvement solutions + Colloborate with business leaders to provide support, advice, and guidance on the correct application of products and technology solutions + Apply technical expertise to support the deployment of technology architecture and the total system solution **What you will need to have:** + 5+ years of experience on Unisys MCP systems + 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering in a Master Control Program (MCP) operating system environment, EMC disk subsystems, Work Flow Language (WFL), Communication Management System (COMS) + 5+ years of experience with Windows, Data and Structure Definition Language (DASDL), and Open Distributed Transaction Processing (DTP) + 5+ years of experience with AIX engineering in lieu of Unisys MCP systems + 3+ years of experience in solution architecture, including designing and implementing scalable + Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience **What would be great to have:** + COBOL experience + Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. + Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance + Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions **Important info about this role:** + In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future. \#LI-JP1 **Salary Range** $75,600.00-$105,300.00 _These pay ranges apply to employees in Minnesota.
