Kforce has a client in Chelmsford, MA that is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Windows. This position is remote but may come on site occasionally. Essential Functions: * Configure, deploy, monitor and maintain new server infrastructure (hardware and software, physical and virtual) * Configure, deploy and monitor enterprise backup systems * Active Directory (AD) design and configuration: Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Security Groups, Domain Controllers (DCs), Domain Trusts, etc. * Install, configure and upgrade: Network printing, directory structures, access rights, etc. * When escalation necessary, assist in troubleshooting complex end-user issues with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications * Participate in security audits and manage Company's back-office systems in accordance with regulatory requirements * Position will offer career-benefitting exposure to a wide range of IT support activities
