Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly talented Senior Systems Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will leverage high-performance computing systems and advanced software to conceptualize the future of space systems and missile defense.

What You'll Be Doing:

Develop simulations of complex weapon and sensor interactions

Conduct data analysis to identify key performance factors through both abstract and detailed methodologies

Assess performance capabilities, limitations, and usage patterns of sensors and weapons

Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to design cutting-edge missile defense systems

Simulate missile-defense engagements on state-of-the-art supercomputers

Research and model the latest advancements in space technologies
 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor of Science degree and 5+ years of experience

Active Secret Clearance with the ability to maintain it

Proficiency in C/C++ or Python programming

Expertise in systems modeling and simulation development

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to maintain it

Familiarity with missile defense systems

Knowledge of radar and EO/IR sensors and tracking technologies

Understanding of rocketry and space systems

Proficiency in differential equations and optimization techniques

Secret

Salary Range: 

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
