Position Overview:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner – Corporate will play a critical role in attracting the best talent to GFL across North America. Supporting various business functions and teams to advise on recruitment best practices and acting as the first point of contact for all recruitment matters.



 

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and own the end-to-end recruitment process for corporate positions across the organization, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience

• Build and execute robust recruitment strategies to fit the needs of various business functions

• Develop strong talent pipelines through headhunting and proactive sourcing to meet and exceed the needs of the business
• Act as an in-house talent advisor to the business, consulting hiring managers and business partners on workforce planning, market trends, best practices and compliance
• Independently build, own and maintain critical relationships across the business
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Workday
• Organize, maintain, and coordinate confidential records and files with discretion
• Delivers employment offers for all positions, and communicates important information of offer (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements)

• Initiate and conduct background checks on prospective employees
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, from an in-house or agency background with corporate recruitment experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience
• Workday Recruiting experience desired
• Strong computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with external candidates and internal teams
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage a load of competing priorities under pressure and within respective deadlines
• Highly flexible with the ability to manage relationships at all levels of a diverse organization with a variety of personalities
