The Senior Talent Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in executing talent strategies by developing programs, processes and tools to drive a high-performance culture and support organizational growth. The Senior Specialist helps evaluate our talent practices and makes recommendations to continually improve. This is a collaborative role that partners with stakeholders across the organization, including our Field HR team. This role reports to the VP of Talent and HR Analytics
Primary Objectives and Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of Talent Management initiatives, including goal setting, performance management, employee engagement, talent review and succession planning.
Support the VP of Talent and HR Analytics in executing talent review processes, identifying and nurturing high-potential employees and key talent pools.
Manage employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and work with HR leadership to develop and implement action plans for improvement.
Collaborate with the team to define metrics, collect and analyze talent data, and translate findings into actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Oversee HR systems to support Talent and Development activities, ensuring accurate records for key talent groups.
Partner with Learning & Development teams to align development activities with talent needs, coordinating and facilitating leadership workshops and other offerings.
Effectively communicate talent-related initiatives and updates.
Apply project management skills to drive multiple initiatives within the Talent Management team.
Monitor external talent market trends and recommend adjustments to talent management processes to maintain competitiveness and innovation.
Mentor and provide guidance to Talent Development Specialists, fostering their professional growth and development.
Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the VP of Talent and HR Analytics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required (Human Resources or a related field preferred)
3-4 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience initiating, managing, and executing projects, meeting deadlines, engaging stakeholders, and following up on outstanding tasks.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Professional demeanor with excellent diplomatic skills.
Self-directed and goal-oriented work style with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
