As the Sr. Talent Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the delivery, evaluation, and evolution of the global Performance Management program. In this role you will work closely with HR Business Partners, cross-functional partners and business leaders to support across other talent strategy programs (e.g., talent pipeline development, succession planning, retention, competency framework). You will contribute to shaping and evolving best-in-class talent programs that impact James Hardie’s broader people strategy. You will have experience with Performance Management and reporting on Talent Analytics.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the delivery and evolution of Performance Management at James Hardie. Partner with key stakeholders (e.g., business leaders, L&D, HRBPs) to incorporate performance, ongoing feedback, and individual development planning initiatives into core learning programs. Partners cross-functionally to facilitate to the overall design and creation of talent management tools (e.g., performance, talent development activities). Develop communications and training materials to support Performance, including the creation of resources to develop key understanding of year-round performance process (e.g., goal setting, year-end review, mid-year review, calibration, feedback, check-ins). Create and deliver ad hoc reports that enable visibility of participation / utilization of existing talent cycles and initiatives (e.g., performance, talent review, succession planning, High Potential development, IDPs). Design and execute internal research to gain insight into effectiveness of talent tools and practices (e.g., development themes, linkage analyses, ROI) to accelerate development of talent pipelines and mitigate risk. Research trends and innovations to provide strategic thought leadership on evolution of performance with a culture of ongoing development, while contributing to advancement of future programs.

What You’ll Bring:
Masters’s Degree required, with a focus in IO Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or other related field Minimum five (5) years of experience working in Human Resources, with a focus in Talent Management, Learning and Development, or Talent Analytics, preferably for large-scale enterprise Experience working across various stakeholder groups to define, design, develop, and deploy blended talent resources Experience with collection and analysis of complex datasets to support data-driven decision making (e.g., proficient with Microsoft Excel) Experience with delivering training sessions on an as-needed basis, as it relates to Performance Experience making connections across multiple workstreams when supporting other talent programs Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills Strong understanding of currents trends in performance management Strong analytical skills and proactive mindset for problem-solving Strong project management, organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
