What the day will look like
The Senior Tax Analyst will assist in the corporate income tax reporting and compliance functions for Aon’s Canadian operations. This role will also assist with global income tax reporting projects.
+ Prepare Canadian income tax returns, including foreign affiliate reporting
+ Prepare non-resident Canadian tax filings
+ Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and related working papers
+ Calculate monthly tax instalments and prepare month taxes payable reconciliation
+ Assist with global income tax reporting projects
+ Develop strong working relationship with the tax and controllership teams around the world
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Minimum 2 years of corporate income tax (CIT) experience and/or operational accounting
+ Fluency in English (speaking and writing)
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
+ Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, with emphasis in finance, accounting, or tax.
+ High proficiency in MS Excel
+ Ability to collaborate in a global team environment.
+ Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Self-starter, ability to focus on accuracy and timeliness.
+ Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple projects.
+ Workday, Tableau and/or Alteryx experience a plus.
