Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare CIT, WHT and SST filingsPrepare STAT CIT calculation for statutory financial audit purpose.Prepare tax accounting relevant work including CIT/WHT/SST reconciliation, CIT return to provision etc.Prepare payment settlement of open tax liability if necessary (e.g., ECI, SST, CIT etc.)Prepare cash forecast for CIT/SST and WHT when requiredClosely monitor tax relevant ruling updatesLiaise with local tax authority on daily tax issue (e.g., WHT receipt collection etc.)Assist with all indirect tax operational mattersSupport Tax audit, tax project and other ad hoc as required

Required Qualifications

bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MICPA is preferred

More than 3 years of work experience in CIT, VAT, WHT in large multinational firms, accounting, or consulting firms.

Written and verbal fluency in English and Malay

Good working knowledge in a multinational environment
