Job Description

The role of Senior Tax Analyst is supporting the Head of Tax and Tax Senior Manager in the delivery of the group’s tax compliance responsibilities and the provision of advice to the business on existing and new initiatives, including:

Reporting and Compliance

Assisting with the group’s outsourced tax compliance processes, including reviewing CEMEA wide tax filingsPreparing of tax forecasts and tax paymentsPreparation of USGAAP quarterly and year end reporting, including deferred taxes and FIN48 reviewsAssisting with preparation of year end reporting for statutory accounts disclosures for the regionMaintenance of tax team core source data and regular requests such as residency certificates and withholding taxes declarations.Liaising with stakeholders across Visa global tax, CEMEA finance, treasury and legal.

Advisory Related

Assisting with operational business queries, regarding withholding taxes and VAT.Assisting with cross border profit distributions and/or inter-company paymentsAssisting with corporate tax audits within the region andAssisting with VAT management for the region.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications3 or more year’s experience in a finance or tax team.Keen interest to continually build knowledge of the tax landscape in region.Inquisitive about Visa and operations.Strong numerical and analytical skills.Ability to respond to a dynamic changing environment.High quality and control standards.
