Senior Tax Associate, Managed Services

Armanino is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior to join our Tax Managed Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably within the tax domain, and a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering projects within scope, timeline, and budget.  

  

Responsibilities:  

Manage and oversee multiple tax-related projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines, scope, and budget constraints.  

Collaborate with internal teams, including tax professionals, technology specialists, and consultants, to define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.  

Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.  

Identify and mitigate project risks and obstacles and proactively implement solutions to ensure successful project delivery.  

Lead project meetings, facilitate discussions, and provide regular updates to project team members and stakeholders.  

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and effectively managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.  

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Tax Managed Services division, leveraging best practices and innovative approaches to enhance project delivery processes and methodologies.  

 

Requirements:  

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, with a focus on tax services or related fields.  

Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion, meeting or exceeding project objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.  

Strong understanding of tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements; experience working in tax consulting or advisory services is highly desirable.  

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and senior leadership.  

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
