Our client, a well-established Certified Public Accounting firm with a history spanning over 80 years, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Tax Associate to join their growing team. The firm specializes in a wide array of services, including accounting, auditing, tax, estate planning, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement Management:
Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring timely deliverables and high-quality service. Oversee workflow and maintain strong client relationships.Tax Preparation and Review:
Prepare and review complex multi-state corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and individual income tax returns, including 1040s, 1041s, 1120s, and 1065s. Provide expertise in estate, trust, and financial planning for high-net-worth individuals, including estates, gifting, and IRA strategies. Develop year-end tax projections and strategies for quarterly estimates and tax planning.Research and Compliance:
Conduct tax research and provide training on relevant topics. Manage the resolution of tax notices and examinations with government agencies.Leadership and Staff Development:
Supervise and mentor staff accountants on multiple engagements. Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback. Deliver educational content and client-focused communications, including webinars.Qualifications:
Experience: 3–5+ years of public accounting experience with a diversified tax background and the ability to lead multiple engagements. Education & Certification: CPA designation preferred or required. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement, and QuickBooks. Skills: Strong technical taxation knowledge. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Effective organizational and time management skills. Team-oriented mindset with proven leadership and staff development capabilities.Compensation:
Competitive salary in the range of $110,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience.
