Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Tax Associate in San Antonio, Texas, 78230, United States. You will be a vital part of our team, handling a variety of responsibilities associated with tax preparation and accounting. You will review the work of entry level associates, manage tax deadlines, and work closely with international clients on tax and special projects. Responsibilities • Accurately prepare and review accounting for assigned clients • Supervise the tax preparation process carried out by entry level tax associates • Effectively manage tax deadlines to ensure timely compliance • Prepare various tax returns including Forms 1120, 1065, 1120-S, 1040, 5472 • Handle the preparation of state franchise tax compliance requirements • Prepare necessary tax forms such as 1099, 1042, etc. • Provide assistance to tax staff with tax and accounting projects as needed • Take part in special projects as and when requested • Regularly meet and report to the CEO • Deal with International Clients on Tax and Special Projects Requirements • Position: Senior Tax Associate • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or tax-related field • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Familiarity with CaseWare is required • Experience using CCH IntelliConnect is essential • Must be able to navigate CCH Prosystem efficiently • Knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx is mandatory • Strong understanding of Accounting Functions • Prior experience in Auditing • Demonstrated knowledge in Compliance • Experience with Entity Formation is necessary • Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements • Expertise in Tax Preparation is crucial.
