We are currently seeking a Tax Manager or a Senior Tax Manager to join our Trust and Estate Practice which provides Estate Planning Services and Tax Compliance Services. 

Essential Duties Provide high level fiduciary, personal income, gift and estate tax compliance services as well as estate planning advisory servicesReview individual, fiduciary, estate and gift tax returnsReview estate and trust fiduciary accountingsHandle Federal and State tax notices and auditsResearch Federal, State and International tax laws, prepare tax memorandums on technical topics, and develop tax savings strategiesManage all aspects of client accounts and foster client relationshipsReview and analyze estate planning related legal documentsBusiness development including networking, public speaking and authoring Trust and Estate related articlesManage other members of the group including monitoring their workload and training and assisting them Qualifications BA/BS degree in Accounting required; MST preferredActive CPA license or EA certification requiredMinimum 10 year’s experience working with trust, estate and gift mattersPublic accounting firm experience requiredExtensive experience in Tax Advisory and Estate/Trust planning and complianceAbility to establish and maintain good client relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications requiredExperience with reviewing fiduciary, gift and estate tax returnsPreferred experience with Axcess Tax, GEMS, Intelliconnect, RIA Checkpoint and BNAExperience with research software and memo writing requiredMust be able to work additional hours as needed to meet client deliverables.Travel to various local client locations and other PKFOD office locations via personal vehicle may be required.
