Senior Tax Technology Consultant

Job Description & Summary

The ITBC team at PwC Poland is made up of 100 experts who deal extensively with merging the world of technology with the world of taxation. Our main domain is projects implementing PwC's proprietary tax reporting solution and KSeF (Taxolite), as well as projects in the area of tax requirements of ERP systems, or tax process automation. Our area of expertise also includes dedicated technology solutions for taxes. We take responsibility for major technology projects in the tax area for customers in Poland and abroad.

We are looking for:
Senior Tax Technology Consultant

Your future role:

Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and document business needs related to tax processes,

Analyzing existing tax workflows and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement,

Translating business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams,

Evaluating, recommending, and implementing tax technology solutions (e.g., ERP systems, tax compliance software, reporting tools, AI),

Configuring and customizing tax technology platforms to align with business needs,

Leading or supporting tax technology projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives.

Apply if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field,

Experience with a range of tax types, including: CIT, VAT, TP, Indirect Tax,

Hands-on experience in tax technology solutions, such as SAP, Oracle, Vertex, Avalara or similar platforms,

Familiarity with tax reporting and compliance regulations across multiple jurisdictions,

Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies,

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills,

Project management experience with a focus on tax or finance technology projects.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of SQL, data analytics, or programming languages such as Python,

Tax engines knowledge (Vertex, Avalara) or reporting engines (Pagero, Edicom etc.),

Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or business analysis (e.g., CBAP),

Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) tools / AI and methodologies.
