Collins Aerospace is hiring a Senior Tech, Material Veri fi cation & Control Quality Technician to support the manufacturing line. The Quality Technician is provided with opportunities to gain visibility from site leadership and customers by working to achieve objectives that have a significant impact on site quality health. Uses experience and knowledge to influence the development, modification, application, and maintenance, of quality control systems and protocols. This role will be onsite in Simpsonville, SC. What You Will Do + Supports the quality function to assure uncompromising quality for product and provide seamless communication between Customer QE, Quality Inspector and Manufacturing, as required. + Support quality department on improvement of quality through analyzing non-conformances and performing root cause analysis of discrepancies. + Support quality team in reviewing and implementing corrective and preventive actions. + Work with quality management to help determine root cause of customer issues. + Support quality management in other areas including quality data entry, report generation, quality investigations, metrics generation, etc. with moderate supervision. + Support continuous improvement through collection and analyzing of data. + Promptly respond to production floor quality issues and taking appropriate actions, where applicable. + Document all quality activities accurately and timely. + Works with Customer QE to ensure that projects and/or process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts. + Reviews and makes recommendations for Quality Assurance plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of Quality targets. + Works with Customer QE to perform escape management procedures and leads teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances as well as implement corrective/preventive actions. + Provides guidance and support and maintains a strong working relationship with the inspection and operations teams. + Supports review and implementation of engineering change orders. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
