Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr Technical Accountant with a strong experience in technical accounting, public accounting, and US GAAP. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in technical accounting, a CPA certification, and experience with lease accounting under ASC 842. Candidates with Big 4 or second-tier public accounting experience are preferred.

ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee technical accounting projects.Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards.Handle lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842.Coordinate and manage stock compensation accounting (preferred).Work on derivatives accounting under ASC 815 (preferred).Manage goodwill and intangibles accounting.Coordinate statutory audits with external auditors and vendors, including UK audits.Provide project updates and compile financial statements.Partner with Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.Essential SkillsAt least 4 years of technical accounting experience.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.Proficiency in US GAAP.Experience in public accounting.Experience with lease accounting under ASC 842.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with stock compensation accounting (nice to have).Experience with derivatives accounting under ASC 815 (preferred).Experience with goodwill and intangibles accounting.Experience with statutory audits, especially UK audits.Bachelor's degree in accounting.Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The working hours are from 9:00am to 6:00pm. The position requires coordination with external auditors and vendors, and collaboration with the Corporate Accounting team. The work environment is professional and dynamic, providing opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
