The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

 

The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SSAG is hiring for a Senior Technical Advisor.

Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Advisor will provide SME-level expertise supporting technical and programmatic workforces in the design, construction, test and operation of U.S. Navy Nuclear Powered Fast Attack and Ballistic Missile Submarines. The candidate will support complex large-scale projects and organizations with challenging program schedules and budgets amidst rigorous requirements and high levels of consequence. One of the primary projects that the candidate supports will be a priority acquisition program for the Strategic Weapons System integration into the US/UK Common Missile Compartment hosted on both US COLUMBIA and UK Dreadnought Class SSBNs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.At least 20 years of engineering, acquisition, project and program management support related to SSBN operations.Experience in Ship Design and Acquisition.Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.Proficient in MS Office.

 

Desired Qualifications: 

Supervisory and mentoring experience a plus.Prior Active Duty Service on board US Navy SSBNs.
