We are seeking an accomplished Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team in supporting multiple software products and brands across the organization, such as www.Costar.com. You will have a direct impact on highly visible web applications that touch millions of users. You continuously learn emerging technologies and architecture advancements and apply the learnings to improve our software products.
This position is located in Nashville, TN and offers 3 days a week onsite with 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
Understanding the CoStar business, the goals of our products, and collaborating with Product Development and Design in the creation of those products Writing acceptance criteria for user stories that contain key information for the development team to do their work Maintain direct channels of communication with software developers, management, and Product Design to accomplish team goals Responding to analytic specific issues that are raised by internal and external groups Identifying and document business trends utilizing real data that will support new features and applications Holding regular stakeholder/grooming meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress Documenting user requirements and business rules to be used in application development Understanding End-To-End test cases at the application and multi-application levels Working directly with QA Staff to ensure comprehensive testing for all areas and provide input as to how to test new features Lead the triage process where business users submit tickets for analysis. Triage involves resolving tickets by performing necessary actions, providing correct processes, or assigning them to the appropriate development team.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college A track record of commitment to prior employers Minimum of 5+ years of Product, Systems, or Business analysis experienceBasic SQL database knowledge This role is highly self-directed. Being capable of driving outcomes with very little supervision is a must.Software coding experience background is a plus.Occasionally, creating wireframes in a tool such as Visio is required for this role.Agile/Scrum experience is requiredPreferred Qualifications And Skills
