Job Summary

Provide applications support to customers and distributors in the region to ensure that our systems and products produce the results that our customers expect, and technical support to distributors and customers to ensure proper integration, installation and smooth running of equipment to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for applications and service in China & Taiwan, providing expert applications advice as well as technical service support to our distributors and customersUnderstand customers' applications requirements, develop suitable solutions, and make appropriate recommendations to achieve their desired outcomesConduct applications and equipment demonstrations on-site and in the applications lab. Generating applications reports in support of pre and post sales activities.Interface with customers in a professional manner to understand their applications issues and make appropriate equipment recommendations to fulfil their needsConduct applications training both in-house and on-site at customer locations. Support the set-up, inspection, and testing of new equipment at customer locations to ensure proper installation.Provide technical support, training, and advice to distributors / customers on use and maintenance of equipmentOther duties as required by management, including travel and support outside own region

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a strong background in semiconductor applications and technologies.Confident communicator - work closely with high level customers and present to large audiencesProven experience in 3D AOI or computer vision systems within the semiconductor field.Ability to work independently and remotelyTeam player who is unafraid to proactively draw on various resources in the organisation to achieve objectivesAnalytical mind and ability to consider the big picture.
