Our client, a leading consultancy with a reputation for delivering world-class projects across a diverse range of industries dedicated to ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability is now urgently looking for an experienced Senior Technical Manager. As Senior Technical Manager you will be the technical delivery representative for Germany Built Asset Consultancy working closely with partners and other regional stakeholders, all jointly responsible for developing propositions, opportunities, strategic direction, and capability, and driving growth across all aspects of BAC in Europe.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Lead technical consulting projects, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.
Participate in monthly European BAC meetings to present progress against the business plan, outline upcoming business development activities, address any resourcing needs, and provide feedback on the results from the previous month's initiatives.
Act as the primary technical advisor to clients, assessing project requirements, defining scope, and developing tailored solutions.
Identify opportunities to engage with existing clients, including cross-selling additional services or expanding into new regions.
Prepare proposals and delivery of presentations.
Participate in external functions, events, and conferences to enhance the company's visibility and establish new connections.
Support the European BAC Partners in developing, implementing, and continuously reviewing the regional business plan.
Act as the primary technical contact to clients, assessing project requirements, defining scope, and developing tailored solutions.
Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on complex engineering or project issues, ensuring alignment with quality, regulatory, and compliance standards.
Degree in Building Surveying, Commercial, Architecture, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field of studies.
Previous relevant professional experience in a similar role.
Significant experience in providing technical consulting roles.
German & English communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with German clients and stakeholders.
