Senior Technical Manager Job Description Summary: D&G is seeking an exceptional Senior Technical Manager to support the Defense Logistics Agency R&D Applied Research & Testing Emergency Technologies (ARTET) Program. ARTET is DLA’s cloud based environment that will accelerate early-stage development, evaluation and production of emerging and disruptive technologies. This is an outstanding opportunity to be a part of a team responsible for overseeing the requirements, interagency coordination and development of innovative logistics solutions to sustain warfighter readiness and lethality. Job Description: + Leads the ARTET Team in addressing technical issues and recommendations regarding technical and engineering solutions, to include technical maturity, technical risk, and risk mitigation. + Leads headquarters level coordination within DLA, DoD, Industry and Academia on emerging technologies and R&D that would benefit DLA f for integrating commercial emerging tech solutions into the ARTET cloud environments. + Reviews and makes recommendations on industry DevSecOps/IT proposals, project plans, technical approaches and requirements. + Ability to assess technology, conduct market research, review research and development proposals, draft and implement project plans, support acquisitions, track and report financial information, and critically evaluate qualitative and quantitative data to assess progress and results. Preferred Skills and Abilities: + Experience leading DevSecOps/IT projects and proficient in cloud architecture, DevSecOps methodologies, and emerging technologies such as AI, ML, GenAI, Digital Twin, and blockchain + Familiarity with DoD and DLA policies, regulations, and procedures. + Experience managing project plans and associated cost, schedule and performance requirements. + Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and serve as Technical Lead between the Government Program Manager, DoD Functional and Technical Managers, and Industry. + Excellent leadership and team building skills. + Knowledge of leading-edge concepts and technology is preferred. Knowledge of DLA’s research and development process and mission areas is preferred. Required Skills, and Abilities: + Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or technical field. + Minimum Experience: 7 years of IT, R&D or Engineering support to DoD/Federal Agencies + Clearance: National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) and Tier 2 (SF-85P) DoD Security Clearance. Able to attain SECRET clearance (post award). + Certifications*: IAT-II. One cert from each of the following two groups meets this requirement: + CCNA SECURITY, CySA+, GICSP, Security+ CE, SSCP, CND. + AWS CSA Associate, GIAC GCWN, Google ACE, ICS Cybersecurity (301v), ISA CCST Level I, MC: Azure AA, MCSA: WS2008, MCSA: WS2012, MCSA: WS2016, MCITP EA, MCITP SA, MS2016:AD I&N, MS 365 Messaging AA, OCI Foundations 2020. Location: Remote. Occasion travel to DLA HQ Ft Belvoir, VA, industry forums and/or work locations.
