Description The BuilderWorks Application Experience team is looking for an experienced, Senior Technical Program Manager to drive cross cutting initiatives ranging from efficiency to improving developer experience across multiple director-led engineering organizations. As an exploratory team, we often engage in solving nuanced and ad-hoc problems on behalf of the larger organization. This position will need to be flexible and creative in tackling those new challenges. This position will engage with engineering teams across multiple SVP organizations to influence roadmaps and prioritize efforts, requiring strength in ability to Earn Trust and Delivering Results. The Senior Technical Program Manager will track progress against goals and support sequencing the resources based on variables such as complexity and adjacency to other systems which enable higher levels of abstraction. The right candidate will have a proven track record of planning and delivering complex programs with multi-year roadmaps. They will have experience driving architectural change across large organization(s) and handling communication for developers up to technical engineering leaders. Basic Qualifications - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 3+ years of software development experience - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
