Senior Technical Program Manager

Business Operations Bank (aka BizOps Bank) is the fictitious, synthetic financial institution that is the customer using Mastercard products and services. BizOps Bank is a multi-national financial institution spanning the globe and has individual and corporate customers who use the bank's deposit, loan and treasury services.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to oversee both our Biz Ops Bank and Chaos engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving initiatives to successful completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of both business operations and engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities
•\tLead and manage the Biz Ops Bank and Chaos engineering teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
•\tDevelop and implement program strategies, roadmaps, and project plans.
•\tCoordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project execution and delivery.
•\tIdentify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
•\tMonitor and report on program performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
•\tFoster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the teams.
•\tEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
•\tProven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
•\tStrong understanding of business operations, transaction flow, and chaos engineering principles.
•\tExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•\tAbility to think strategically and execute methodically.
•\tStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
•\tKnowledge of JIRA and other project management tools is helpful.
•\tExperience with agile methodologies and practices.
•\tAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
