Senior Technical Project Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join UAE Team. As a Technical Manager, you will be accountable for supporting the STRUCTURAL Contracting Division in bringing the capabilities of Structural
Technologies/SIMCO ME to the Commercial, Public and Industrial markets. You will collaborate with our
Investigation and Condition Assessment Team (SIMCO), Business Development staff, Technologies, Estimation
Team and Operations teams to support day-to-day efforts developing solutions that meet the needs of our
valued clients, maximize our success rate and potential of converting Investigation and Engineering into
construction projects and oversee technical and strategic aspects of all estimation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Participating in web-based meetings, in person meetings, email, and phone calls with Structural
Technologies/SIMCO ME current and potential clients as needed, to provide technical support to
business development efforts Assisting with drafts of proposals and necessary revisions Assisting with assembly of bid packages and submittals Attending job-site walks and pre-bid meetings as needed Drafting and supporting development of technical packages for submission on projects and for internal
discussions Participating in project review calls in support of BDM efforts Close coordination with the Engineering team to convert condition assessment and investigation
opportunities into contracting opportunities and integrate the construction team and constructability
into the design process as well as manage flow of design effort Close coordination with the Engineering team to build solutions (strengthening, durability, ground
water) for design-build opportunities Be an advocate of design excellence Oversee Technical and strategic aspects of Estimation; facilitate “marriage” between design professionals and cost estimators.


Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field of study 10+ years of experience in a professional environment related in civil/structural engineering or
construction industries Strong understanding of sales functions, procedures, and standards along with structural and civil
engineering concepts and practices Ability to interface well with all levels of the organization internally as well as externally with partner
agencies and customers Strong verbal and written communication skill Excellent documentation and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applicants including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Experience: Previous experience working for repair contractors or repairs design-engineering
firms.
