Role Summary As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Rivian, you will take a hands-on approach to identifying and hiring exceptional engineering talent for our mechanical and electrical engineering teams. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers and technical stakeholders to define talent needs, craft innovative sourcing strategies, and deliver top-tier candidates. Your expertise in recruiting for complex engineering roles will help shape the teams behind Rivian’s groundbreaking vehicles and technologies. With your experience and proactive mindset, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring an outstanding candidate experience and seamless hiring processes. Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies for engineering roles in mechanical and electrical hardware. Proactively source and engage candidates through various channels, including networking, referrals, and online platforms. Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure technical expertise and cultural alignment with Rivian’s values. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial outreach to offer negotiation and onboarding support. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of engineering talent to meet both current and future hiring demands. Collaborate with team members to refine processes and ensure an exceptional candidate experience. Stay informed about industry trends and talent market dynamics to adapt recruitment strategies effectively. Represent Rivian at career fairs, networking events, and other forums to promote the company as an employer of choice. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business, Engineering). 4+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a focus on mechanical and electrical engineering roles. Proven ability to source and engage engineering talent for highly technical roles. Strong understanding of recruiting best practices, technical hiring processes, and workforce planning. Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools; familiarity with Greenhouse is a plus.
