Royal Caribbean Group’s Global Shoreside Talent Acquisition Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Technical Recruiter reporting to the Lead, Talent Acquisition Partner.
This role will work onsite in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
The Senior Technical Recruiter, is an individual contributor position responsible for the recruitment and selection of highly specialized positions within all Technology divisions of RCG. This position is responsible to establish and develop a strong network of candidates as well as manage any external agencies and/or recruiters, to efficiently recruit management and professional level candidates. You will partner effectively with Leadership to source, assess and hire the best talent for leadership roles within our organization across multiple brands.
The Senior Technical Recruiter is responsible for compiling metrics that measure the effectiveness of the recruiting process, developing strategic sourcing plans, executing overall sourcing strategies and providing consultation to leadership regarding the talent market as well as seeking out opportunities for continuous process improvement. This role will drive the recruiting process for all level roles, including leadership level roles, uncovering great talent, delivering a superb candidate experience and ultimately closing the right candidates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive the hiring process for assigned roles, working closely with hiring managers, HRBP and internal teams to determine competencies needed for each role, manage the hiring process, escalating any roadblocks along the way. Execute on hiring initiatives, in accordance with the global talent acquisition process and meeting the required SLAs. Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing strategies and execution. Collaborate with global and regional teams as required, supporting the hiring requirements in other international regions when required. Deliver pipelines of talent for open roles, using a combination of passive candidate sourcing, networking and applicants from targeted sources. Ensure a great candidate experience by following up with candidates in a timely fashion and providing transparency throughout the process. Must be able to attract passive candidates through all available sourcing tools. Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the department, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within our mission to deliver the highest quality results. Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process. Participate with TA Leadership, in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for mid to senior-level openings. Qualifications and Education:
5+ years full life cycle technical recruiting experience in a global, matrixed environment. Corporate recruiting experience preferred. Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships. Experience in different sourcing channels specially finding niche technical talents. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge of accepted human resource practices and all applicable laws governing employment and fair treatment of employees Proven ability to conduct competency-based interviewing. Strong interviewing skills; ability to understand and further the organizations business objectives and employee performance objectives.
Knowledge and Skills:
Working knowledge of accepted human resources recruitment practices. Ability to acquire knowledge of recruitment processes in various countries. Ability to negotiate terms and conditions with candidates within established guidelines. Ability to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing, to gather and relay information in a multinational environment consisting of department heads, managers, coworkers and peers. Ability to productively work under tight time constraints and stressful situations. Ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and co-workers. Knowledge of automated human resources systems preferred. Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of Microsoft software packages such as Excel and Word.
