This position is hybrid and located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In this position, the Senior Technical Service Engineer HPC is the primary technical point of contact for selected key customers. You will support your colleagues, sales and business departments with your technical knowledge; you will assist them to identify business opportunities as well as maintain the quality and consistency of all technical information to customers. You will establish relations with refineries to provide solutions to their hydroprocessing needs, to discuss and review technical proposals and solve technical problems. **What You Will Do** + Work together with technical sales in the preparation and execution of negotiation plans + Assist the business in identifying technical needs and in defining marketing strategy + Coach junior colleagues in the department + Prepare and present technical offers to our customers + Review technical proposals of colleagues and recommendations for HPC catalyst applications to existing and potential customers + Maintain technical quality and consistency of all technical information to customers + Perform technical services, like unit monitoring and troubleshooting **What You Bring** **Required Experience and Education:** + At least 15 years of experience in at least one of the following disciplines: Research & Development, Refinery (operation and / or technical support) related to operation in Hydroprocessing units, Technical Sales, including experience in troubleshooting and fulfilling an internal expert role + Academic working and thinking level (preferably Chemical Technology) + Proven leadership / people management skills + Proficient English skills, both written and spoken.
