Applied R&D (AR) consists of target-oriented research either with the goal of solving a particular problem / answering a specific question or for multi-discipline design, development, and implementation of hardware, software, and systems including maintenance support. Supplies techno-economic consulting to clients. AR work is characterised by its detailed and complex nature in order to systematically combine existing knowledge and practices to further developing and incrementally improving products, operational processes, and customer-specific feature development.

Subfamily Description

Integration, Verification & Testing (IVT) comprises the integration of SW and / or HW or system components into system, platform, product releases, or networks and verifies the integrated entity or network against particular requirements and specifications. Covers setup and maintenance of laboratory and associated equipment, tools, and devices.

 

Total experience of minimum 8+ years. 5+ years of strong experience in cloud & related domains.

- Should have strong knowledge in AWS or GCP or Azure cloud.
- Should have good understanding of OpenShift and deploying applications in OpenShift.
- Should be able to effectively monitor, manage, troubleshoot OpenShift platform and the application deployed in it.
- Should be able to bring up a Kubernetes cluster from scratch in AWS or GCP or Azure.
- Should be well versed with cloud related concepts and able to debug cloud related issues effectively.
- Should have strong Kubernetes knowledge and debugging issues in Kubernetes platform.
- Should be able to learn other cloud platforms and contribute wherever required.
- Should be a team player. Support team members and mentor them to upskill in cloud understanding.
- Should be able to install complex product (application) on top of the Cloud Kubernetes platform.
- Should be able to understand the product and debug issues related to product deployed in cloud platform.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure technologies.
- Should be able to write and develop scripts in cloud, based on the requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices in cloud computing.
- Redhat openshift certification & Cloud Certification is preferred.
- General understanding of Fixed Network products is preferred.

 

Will be working in Fixed Networks SDN application products. Supporting deployments in cloud, openshift and debugging issues in cloud, openshift and application are the primary responsibilities. Support team members to upskill and mentor others. Willing to work in flexible schedules during critical customer ticket debugging. Will be part of on-call roster for a week in a month to support customer outages.
