The Senior Technical Trainer is responsible for one or more of Rain Bird Service’s for-profit training programs offered through ‘Livestream’ and ‘In-classroom’ delivery to both domestic and global participants. Typical responsibilities include scheduling events, overseeing the development of course materials, delivering training and coordinating people to deliver training, and developing marketing and sales materials to support events. Responsibilities Delivering training both Livestreaming and In-classroom up to 70% of the time Ensure their training program(s) has the right mix of classesOversee development of class material Set up training events and coordinate the people who deliver the training Help to market and sell scheduled training and customized trainingDevelop and implement strategic initiatives to grow their training program(s) Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Rain Bird personnel, irrigation contractors, distributors, landscape architects and other key players within the irrigation industry QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent presenter and communicator Able to “own” projects and see them through to completionKnowledge, skills, ability, and other qualities that will qualify the candidate for promotionUndergraduate degree or equivalentDriven, assertive, global perspective and results-oriented Excellent negotiation and influencing skillsOvernight travel, up to 50% of the year
