Scope of Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metrology Technician to operate metrology equipment, manage our physical sample inventory, report data, and troubleshoot equipment issues. The ideal candidate will have experience working with metrology equipment, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Operating metrology equipment and ensuring its optimal functionality. Managing the physical sample inventory and keeping accurate records. Reporting data on the performance of the metrology equipment and any anomalies detected. Troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing effective solutions. Conducting sample testing, ensuring that all processes align with company safety standards. Collaborating with team members and other departments as necessary. Participating in continuous learning and development opportunities. Requirements 2-year degree in a STEM field. 1-2 years technical work experience. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desired Skills 2+ years laboratory experience. Experience working with metrology equipment. Research/Development experience.

The range for this position is  $69,134.00 - $95,060.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
