The Senior Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for driving the organization's impact by ensuring the efficient and accurate production of medical diagnostic kits.
This position is part of the Particle/Formulation team, located in Chaska, MN working on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our mission is to Relentlessly Reimagine Healthcare, One Diagnosis at a Time .
You will be a part of the Particle/Formulation team and report to the Supervisor, Lucas Drees responsible for the accurate production of medical diagnostic kits. If you thrive in a fast paced role and want to work to build a world-class organization—read on.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Execute Daily Production Plan: Ensure adherence to due date conformance with strong quality standards according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
+ Particle Couplings and Buffer Formulations: Independently handle tasks related to particle couplings and buffer formulations, maintaining good laboratory practices, and assisting in other areas as needed.
+ Solution Testing: Conduct tests on solutions, including pH, conductivity, and density, to ensure they meet production/process specifications.
+ Regulatory Compliance: Assure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO regulatory requirements.
+ Analytical Skills: Apply basic analytical skills or scientific methods to perform daily tasks.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly and cooperatively with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure an emphasis on quality.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ High school degree (or equivalent) / 5+ years of relevant experience.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel.
+ Basic Windows operating system knowledge.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Regulated Industry Experience: Previous experience in a regulated industry (e.g., FDA, ISO) is preferred.
+ Laboratory/Science or Manufacturing Work. Experience in laboratory/science-related or manufacturing work is advantageous.
The salary range for this role is $22-$25. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
