This position is part of the Warehouse Distribution department located onsite just outside Tulla at Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare. APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A VALID - Licensed Counterbalance/Reach Truck Operator In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Role-Specific Responsibilities: + Prepare paperwork for dangerous goods shipments + Prepare paperwork and pack miscellaneous shipments for all direct shipments to customers and container to distribution centres including US + Prepare and pack miscellaneous shipments for all departments + Deal directly with freight forwarders to arrange shipments + Process orders for warehouse packaging etc. requirements + Update cycle counts on a weekly basis + Liaise with operations to ensure priorities are released for shipment General Responsibilities: + Update move orders and IR including finished goods from the Distribution Centre + Maintain the warehouse and distribution area to the company housekeeping standards + Follow all safety processes and procedures, Highlight safety issues if identified + Work on own initiative + Support and train work colleagues with less experience + Support own team as required + Provide cover for work colleagues when required Education/ Experience + Leaving Certificate or equivalent and/or experience working in a warehouse and distribution environment. + Licenced for tuck, counterbalance and cherry picker operation + Certified in packing and shipping dangerous goods + Good computer skills, Oracle, Excel, Word (or other WMS systems) + Skills in inventory maintenance and control inducing cycle counting + Set up and use of temperature recorders Join our winning team today.
