This position is part of the Warehouse Distribution department located onsite just outside Tulla at Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A VALID -  Licensed Counterbalance/Reach Truck Operator

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Role-Specific Responsibilities:

Prepare paperwork for dangerous goods shipmentsPrepare paperwork and pack miscellaneous shipments for all direct shipments to customers and container to distribution centres including USPrepare and pack miscellaneous shipments for all departmentsDeal directly with freight forwarders to arrange shipmentsProcess orders for warehouse packaging etc. requirementsUpdate cycle counts on a weekly basisLiaise with operations to ensure priorities are released for shipment

General Responsibilities:

Update move orders and IR including finished goods from the Distribution CentreMaintain the warehouse and distribution area to the company housekeeping standardsFollow all safety processes and procedures, Highlight safety issues if identifiedWork on own initiativeSupport and train work colleagues with less experienceSupport own team as requiredProvide cover for work colleagues when required

Education/ Experience

Leaving Certificate or equivalent and/or experience working in a warehouse and distribution environment.Licenced for tuck, counterbalance and cherry picker operationCertified in packing and shipping dangerous goodsGood computer skills, Oracle, Excel, Word (or other WMS systems)Skills in inventory maintenance and control inducing cycle countingSet up and use of temperature recorders
