About the role

 

Based out of the Co-creation Center in Frankfurt am Main, works in partnership with customers from the Food Industry in DACH, Benelux, Nordics, and Eastern Europe to develop innovative new concepts as well as renovating current products that are tailored to customer´s specific needs in the Prepared Meals, Sauces, Soups and Dressings segments (PMSSD).

Key responsibilities

 

Manages activities related to key projects like applying collection items to recipes and preparing demo kits. Ensures that ingredient functionality into final products fits the purpose of the customer. Interacts with customers in trouble shooting sessions on application concerns. Participates in internal trainings to bring new developments as unique selling points for the customers. Supports the roll-out of strategic new technologies, alongside Sales and Marketing teams. Work closely with Business Development Managers to ensure relevant technologies (Taste) are being brought to market.
  Qualifications and skills

 

BSc in Food Science or equivalent.   At least 5 years’ experience in one or several of the above-mentioned industries.  Extensive culinary application experience in the Food Industry. Proficient in creating new savoury products, improving existing ones and ensuring product consistency throughout shelf-life. Strong understanding of the chemical and microbiological aspects of prepared meals, soups, sauces and dressings and their implications on safety and quality. Knowledge of how ingredients interact and contribute to the texture, taste, and stability of these products. Manufacturing process experience in the Food Industry, ideally on the Prepared Meals, Soups, Sauces, and Dressings segments. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including timelines and resources. Effective communication and teamwork with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Regulatory teams. Competent IT skills. Good communications skills | Self-motivated | Organised. Proficient spoken and written English (C1).
