The Sr. Technology Implementation Consultant will work within a cross-functional team of experts to develop and implement Single Sign-On and/or other credentials management solutions for the Clinical Effectiveness suite of products. They will be responsible for the development and maintenance of SSO solutions, establishing best practices recommendations, driving customer implementations, and configuring customizations required by our customers. They will liaise between internal Product and Engineering teams, integrations and customer success, and external customer stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities:
In addition to design and solutioning, you are expected to communicate regularly with other groups made up of employees in the office and adopt company culture.
Understand and translate business user-specific Identity & Access Management requirements into Solution.
Understand the existing IAM Solution opportunities and develop and document enhancement opportunities for the Enterprise Solution.
Work closely with the technical lead and architect to develop solution to as per specifications in Solution design.
Collaborate with customers to assess SSO readiness, define implementation timelines, and gather specific requirements.
Collaborate directly with customers to implement SSO solutions, troubleshooting authorization, workflow, and custom configuration issues as needed.
Participate in customer meetings for requirement gathering and to address SSO related questions throughout the project lifecycle.
Support Customer Success in achieving a successful rollout of the UpToDate Enterprise solution across a variety of customers including provider, commercial and international customers.
Leverage strong troubleshooting skills to resolve SSO-related issues, analyze logs, and deliver end-user and client support.
Provide after-hours support for international customers across multiple time zones.

Experience with popular IdPs (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, Auth0).
Understanding of federated identity concepts and cross-domain trust relationships.
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, such as encryption and access control.
Establish positive, collaborative relationships with client representatives even under difficult or escalated circumstances
Act and communicate professionally as a representative of the CE team
Respond quickly and appropriately to customer questions, needs and requests and coordinate resources to meet those needs

Education: Bachelor's degree (Computer Science/Management Information Systems or related technical degree), or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of work experience
Strong understanding of IAM landscape concepts – examples include: SSO, Federated SSO, SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Good knowledge of Web API
Experience with Azure, AWS, LDAP, Bash
Familiarity working in Cloud environment a definite plus
Compensation:
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750
