Senior Technology Manager

a day in the life: what you’ll do

Lead key business strategies in partnership across the PMO, business teams, enterprise architecture and engineering teams to implement optimal technology solutions. Manage supply chain and sourcing platforms for lululemon to ensure lululemon products are designed and sourced from the right vendor, at the best possible cost, and in time to serve our guest. Collaborate with product management and business leadership to define 3–5-year strategies for global supply chain, sustainability and quality business capabilities. Oversees organizational success planning in partnership with the managers to build a pipeline of talent within the organization. Manage the technology team providing technical expertise in design, build and launch of new systems supporting multiple stakeholders. Build, lead and scale a team of engineers and architects globally. Manage portfolio health and financials (CapEx, OpEx). Drive decisions around intake, planning (strategic investment, annual and quarterly), and collaborate with Product Management on prioritization. Grow and develop team members.

Telecommuting permitted up to one day per week within same geographic location as assigned office location.

40 hrs./week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. 


qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field plus (8) eight years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in information technology.

Must have 6 years of experience delivering on key business priorities through strategic technology enablement, while ensuring sustainable business growth.

Must have 5 years of experience in both of the following (which may be gained concurrently):

•     Leading large scale engineering, functional, and technical strategies for Product Sourcing, including the use of FlexPLM; and

•     Leading engineering teams focused on seamless data integration leveraging modern architecture (Kafka, and Snowflake).

Must have 5 years of experience with cloud technology, including AWS Lambda and AWS S3.

Must have 1 year of experience in a people management role, including providing performance feedback and career coaching to junior IT professionals.

Domestic travel required up to 10%.

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 4 days per week.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $229,986.00 - $249,986.00 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
