Job Description:
This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. Job expectations may include coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and hands on career development, identifying emerging talent, fostering leadership skills, and managing stakeholders.
This role requires a niche skill set required with knowledge of payment terminal development, terminal management, and semi-integrated payment APIs serving ISV partners in multiple verticals such as restaurant, retail, and services .
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of leading engineers/software developers with team size of 30+ team members 7+ years Experience leading development of payment terminal and gateway applications using the following technologies:Java, C or C++, .net, and Android7+ years Experience integrating into and configuring terminal management systems from global terminal software/hardware providers 7+ years experience developing mobile applications for both Apple and Android devicesDesired Qualifications:
Desirable to have experience building mobile POS, point of sale, for restaurant and retail verticals Desirable to have experience deploying and hosting software applications in public cloudResponsibilities:
