Senior Technology Operations Analyst

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Operations Analyst in technology as part of cybersecurity.


In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in initiatives and projects within technology operationsContribute to planning related to technology operations projects or deliverablesAnalyze moderately complex technology operations issues which require in depth reviewReview and approve release change documentsExecute and oversee production deployments, including but not limited stop and start job, updating processing tables, and write scriptPlan and design, document and enforce escalation policies and proceduresProvide activity, progress and status reports to management and keeps management posted of any critical issuesProvide accurate problem identification, ticket documentation, customer and vendor dialogueTroubleshoot and triage job failures and work closely with AD Production support and vendors to drive towards root cause identification and resolutionAct as a subject matter professional on research issues escalated from Operations internal alerts, Help Desks, Support Groups and other departmentsImprove deployment processes and tools, architecture, design and day-to-day technical support, scheduling and governance modelsDirect the daily Risk and Control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success; re-engineering and driving continual service improvementContribute to the resolution of complex issuesPartner with others to meet technology operations deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of policies and proceduresCollaborate with management and teams to handle questions or problemsAct as a mentor for individualsResponsible for provisioning database access to end users for various LOBs within Wells Fargo. Work very closely with the Database Administrators and Application groups to determining the level of access people require. This position will still reside in the Security teams.


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Technology Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

3+ years’ experience provisioning access (i.e. Creating Users, Deleting Users, Granting Privileges) on one or more of the following platforms: Oracle, SQL,  SQL Azure, Google Cloud, Teradata, PostgreSQL, Yugabyte or DB2.Previous database provisioning skills with one or more of the following: ORACLE, MS SQL, Teradata, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Yugabyte, DB2Strong and clear verbal communication - analyst will be working via email, phone calls, doing follow-ups with technical and non-technical individuals.Experience in using scripting language such as PowerShell, or Python to automate provisioning tasks. Ticketing System experience (Service Now, ART, Remedy, or other) as well as experience working in a customer service focused environment. MS Excel proficiency with is strongly desired.Experience troubleshooting technical issues. Fast learner who is adaptable and flexible in the face of changing and challenging demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Job Expectations:

Position will be required to be on call and available for escalations. Some weekend and after hour work will be required.Use of personal cell phone is required.This position offers a hybrid work schedule This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$30.58 - $54.33
