Work you’ll do
The Hub Senior Technician will oversee work activities performed by varying-level technicians and is the go-to person for escalations in the Hub operations. Hub Senior Technicians are subject matter authorities in Deloitte systems and processes, particularly those related to asset management, laptop imaging, laptop repair and cell phone processing. As a national service providing assets to practice offices and client service professionals, all hub work is done in designated facilities spanning nationally. Support includes deployment of endpoint computing hardware and software platforms, supporting the business with onboarding/offboarding activities, providing practical and accurate asset management and participation in enterprise-wide technology deployment projects that involve cross-collaboration within and outside of Deloitte Technology. Responsible for consistent high quality, high volume and cost-efficient operations while adhering to all the firm’s policies and procedures for security and privacy.
The role is accountable for safeguarding applications and data residing on all endpoint devices by ensuring the fleet is in full compliance with internal cyber security policies as part of laptop imaging. This includes ensuring laptops are released with the latest bios, successfully backed up, encrypted, and have the latest security updates and malware/virus protection.
Responsibilities:
Perform hardware and software configuration, maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting of laptops, mobile devices, and printers.Engage with vendors to coordinate hardware repairs for laptops, mobile devices, and printers.Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets.Provide one-on-one and group training for peers and customers, including onboarding of new hires.Participate in after-hours support program on rotating basis.Occasional call center phone support may be required.Role is onsite, full time in office.

Customer Experience
The Customer Experience (CXO) team is DT – US first line of contact with personnel. Providing walk-up support, asset management, PC compliance, and mobile devices support, CXO provides hands-on support to Deloitte employees.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years various technology experienceMinimum 2 years of experience providing technical support within a corporate IT department: computer hardware/software including laptops, printers, and smartphone technology along with MS Windows and MAC OS, MSOffice 365 products, other cloud-based technologies with desktop security and compliance applications.Ability to lift to 50 pounds.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureAbility to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing technology support in a professional services environment similar in size and scope to Deloitte.General knowledge of Linux Ubuntu Desktop operating systems including file permissions, file systems management, account management, performance monitoring and command line interface.General knowledge of scripting languages and platforms (C#, PowerShell, .NET etc.) preferred.Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow incident tracking system.Dell, HP & Mac Laptop repair certification.A+, MCSE, Windows 10, ITIL, ACMT certifications.Prior experience in providing services to remote sites a plus.Experience supporting Audio/Video conferencing equipment and telephony equipment. (Polycom, Skype for Business).Strong knowledge of IT security concepts and social engineering threats.Experienced in providing end user support with all levels in the organization including C-Suite leaders.General understanding of technology and infrastructure including networking concepts, unified communications, hardware components and cybersecurity.Ability to apply strong problem-solving skills to identify, diagnose and implement appropriate resolution, both in-person and virtually using remote control tools such as LogMeIn GoToAssist & Rescue.Ability to provide after-hours support on a rotational basis with occasional travel required to offices in local geography.Ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends as needed.
