Primary Objective of Position

The Senior Tenders Specialist is responsible for implementing internal and external processes, systems, and capabilities to drive the pre-tender process and support from customers and administrative tasks to support the Tenders’ Department and the Sales process.

Major Accountabilities

Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.Seeks for announcements on scheduled tenders.Completes tender documentation for the assigned tenders according to the tender requirements.Ensures the seamless and effective transition from tender to contract.Prepares tender offers for Core Diagnostics, Transfusion, and Molecular Diagnostics.Handles tender correspondence and tasks for the Tenders’ Department.Registers new contracts into the local tenders’ databases.Maintains a Market intelligence database related to tenders.Supports sales force with information about competitors' bids and third-party supplier contracts to enhance the customer experience.Be point of contact for customers for communication and clarifications needed related to tenders’ issues.Supports local sales force with further administrative tasks.Ensures compliance activities comply with applicable laws, Abbott’s procedures, and ethical standards.Success in this role is measured by goals achieved and timeliness and quality of submitted tenders.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification required. Bachelor's degree in business administration or life science is desirable.At least 5 years working experience in the diagnostics industry with an emphasis on managing tenders and supporting the sales organization with administrative tasks. Fluent English and PolishStrong communication skills.Must be team-oriented, analytical, and highly organized
