We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst to join our team. Working closely with the Test Manager, you will be responsible for performing software testing on an asset and work management system within the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit. The business has committed to enhancing its existing system, focusing on upgrading the UI, Portal, and Mobile application, implementing new business requirements, and supporting the mobilisation of new contracts.

The Senior Test Analyst plays a critical role in designing, planning, and executing test cases, identifying and tracking defects, and ensuring the software aligns with business requirements across both project-based initiatives and business-as-usual operations.

What you’ll do

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and scenarios to validate software functionality and performance. Conduct functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure software meets business requirements. Work closely with developers and other testers to identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and validate requirements, ensuring alignment with testing objectives. Contribute to test planning, estimation, and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of testing activities.

What you’ll bring

Tertiary Qualification in IT, Business or a related discipline Extensive experience as a Tester, especially in functional and non-functional testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Proven experience working on medium to large, complex projects, delivering high-quality testing outcomes. Skilled in performing manual and automated testing using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks. Proficient in various testing methodologies, including integration, end-to-end, performance, regression, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing. High standard of written and oral communication, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
