What You’ll Be Doing
You will join CIBC’s Core Banking and Payments Technology QA team. As a Senior Test Coordinator, you will lead QA program initiatives, assign and oversee the execution of test cases. Your responsibilities will include end to end test support and coordination, governance and continuous improvement. You’ll be hands on with all aspects of the systems testing process and provide suggestions and input that will ensure client needs are met with the highest quality. You’ll create test plans, develop strategies, coordinate with QA teams in other departments and provide estimates that will help create the bank of the future.

How You’ll Succeed
Testing Expertise – Lead the analysis and translation of business requirements into test cases. Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the business. Use your expertise in software development testing to provide clients with quality products that meet business and system requirements.
Project Coordination – Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project’s timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business. Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders, and escalate issues when necessary. Ensure that all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned to your project’s timeline, budget and objectives.
Leadership Skills – Provide advice to your team located at various geographical locations (onshore/offshore), including ongoing feedback and support. Proactively identify any potential issues throughout all test phases, and suggest possible improvements or enhancements.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 7+ years of experience in Software Testing (manual and automation) using testing tools such as Microfocus ALM, JIRA. You also have hands-on experience writing and executing test cases. It’s also an asset if you have prior experience delivering projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Working knowledge of Model-based testing tool like Conformiq, Automation tools like Selenium/ Parasoft SOAtest and Automation framework like Selenium Robot framework would also be an asset. For internal candidates, working knowledge of CETM and prior working experience on Lending applications such as LCMS, CLASS, Excalibur will be an asset.
