Senior Test Engineer
Job Title: Test Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Test Engineer to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems in vehicles and on the bench. The candidate will determine customer requirements and execute testing activities using tools such as CAN bus monitoring, oscilloscopes, and multimeters. The role involves leading efforts in developing test cases and test plans, executing system-level testing activities, and guiding the testing team on methodologies for creating test plans. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems in vehicles and on the bench. + Determine customer requirements and execute testing activities using tools such as CAN bus monitoring, oscilloscopes, and multimeters. + Lead efforts in developing test cases and test plans. + Execute system-level testing activities and lead the testing team on correct methodologies for developing test plans. + Work alongside US Army engineers to fix, modify, and coordinate the shipping of cutting-edge military vehicles. Essential Skills + Strong experience in testing overall vehicle systems using CAN bus monitoring, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc. + Experience in setting up bench testing and knowledge of testing methods. + Experience on the left side of the V model, taking requirements and executing testing to produce test plans and test cases. + Experience in developing, decomposing, and managing requirements. + Knowledge of model-based system engineering and SysML. + Proficiency with tools such as Wireshark and oscilloscopes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably electrical engineering. + Experience in military vehicle systems is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $64.90/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
