Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to support the Air Dominance Weapon System program in Troy, AL.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Systems Integrations & Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
The candidate will join a team of engineers responsible for automated test equipment (ATE) development and uptime in a production test facility.
The candidate should have strong Software and Electrical hardware test experience.
They will perform test software updates, design modifications to interface test adapters/cables, and integration of ATE with missile assemblies/subassemblies.
The candidate will also engage in frequent collaboration with cross-functional disciplines and subject matter experts to troubleshoot hardware failures.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science- 5 years of professional experience or 3 years with a Master’s Degree
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment and Production Test Methodologies
- Experience with C programming languages and SW development
- Experience troubleshooting electrical hardware and software.
- Experience interfacing with external suppliers and internal program customers
- Experience verifying integrated HW and SW modules to achieve the overall physical, functional and performance objectives
- Experience verifying system interface compliance to associated ICD's
- Experience interfacing with suppliers to assure that their components are properly validated prior to delivery
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment to deliver production hardware
- Capable of working up to 10% overtime and or shift/weekend work as needed
- Strong communication skills required for briefing both progress and challenges with team members and management.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with electrical design (cable design, circuit board design, etc.)
- Experience managing security issues including protection of classified hardware and software, and software loading requirements
- Experience with C, C# and C++ programming languages
- Experience working with the following software applications: NI Lab Windows CVI, NI Test Stand, NI LabView and MathWorks MATLAB
- Demonstrated ability working with software engineers, designers, and production personnel
- Experience delivering effective presentations that include schedule status and corrective action details
- Demonstrated awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements
- Experience with production test and interpreting production test requirements
- Familiar with the LM MFC Design Assurance Process and capable of organizing reviews
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
