What You'll Do Testing of various security features in Cisco’s firewall with focus on high availabilityDevelop/Enhance automation framework for functional/solution testing of Secure firewallsReview and address automation gaps in the existing automation frameworkAutomation & Manual testing of new capabilities that are added into the productAssist development teams to tackle challenging problems in High Availability and Clustering solutionsCollaborate with architects, other technical leads, feature/solution test teams to deliver the features/solutions with 100% quality & automation coverageAs a Test Engineer, you will be participating in design/architecture reviews and be responsible for the testing of the New/Existing functionality in the productClosely work with product management team and dev team to expand the requirements and build software test plans covering all relevant areas focusing on outcomes for customersLearn new security concepts & solutions as well as cloud technologies in a relatively short amount of timeWork closely with customer support & development team to provide timely resolution for customer issuesWho you areBSEE/ MSEE/CS with 12+ years of Functional/Solution test experience in the Networking/Security Domain Deep knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, Network security concepts, Firewall features, secure network design/deploymentsHands-on testing experience working on Next Gen FirewallsExperience in testing network security products in HA and cluster environmentVery solid experience in Test Automation & automation frameworksStrong automation background on Python, Perl, Java etc using product APIsAbility to debug and troubleshoot product, network and OS issuesProficient in TCP/IP Networking and Network management protocols & SolutionsExperience with Docker & Kubernetes Very good knowledge in Network & security functions like IPS/ IDS, IPSEC and SSL VPN, SSL/TLS, NAT, ACLs, Routing/SwitchingExpertise in using Packet tracers, Traffic generator tools and performance testing.Solid experience in UI & API based test automationExperience with virtualization technologies is desired. Experience working on ESXi/KVM or any public cloud AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus#WeAreCisco
