Are you ready to make a significant impact on employee experience? We have an exciting opportunity for a Time and Absence Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions for Time and Absence management.

As a Time and Absence Specialist, you will enable a best-in-class employee experience through exceptional service delivery and subject matter consultation. This includes managing, implementing, and delivering innovative solutions.

Furthermore, you will lead the implementation of Time and Absence systems as part of our roadmap for one or several countries in EMEAI. Your main objective will be to ensure that employees’ Time and Absence is processed timely and accurately, in compliance with respective country tax legislation, agreed labor conditions, and company rules and regulations. This role requires substantial coordination with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, where accountability and ownership of data and processes are key.

Your responsibilities include driving system implementation, fostering innovation, and achieving operational excellence. You will demonstrate structure, flexibility, and specialist knowledge, making you a valuable advisor in your interactions with partners.

Responsibilities

Leading, coordinating and delivering the implementation of Time & Absence system and associated change management for the countries in EMEAI in a productive and efficient manner.Leading Time and Absence strategic improvement projects, change projects and process improvements and working closely with Regional Work process leader and Subject Matter Expert (SME).Monitoring and management of work process which involves many different local application or manual process and data to and from internal employees and related working partner functions.Maintaining a “best in class” internal/external compliance landscape and develop it as internal/external compliance environment change.Coordination over internal and external financial audits. Strong collaboration with HR and controller’s department.Serve as a primary focal point and bridge for/between the payroll contact, employees and different functions within the organization for Time and Absence related inquiries.Understand the different countries regulation and practice as part of the transition to the centralized model. Ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees and local authorities.Perform activities according to the Dow internal control & compliance framework including internal and external audits.

Qualifications

You have a Master or Bachelor degree in HR, Finance or related area.You bring a minimum of 5 years of Time and Absence or payroll experience, both at a technical and practical level in diverse business and work processes or other relevant job experience.Your professional experience can either be within Time and Absence, Payroll, Finance or HR compensation and benefits, where you will have gained practical experience with designing / operating centralized business models.Fluency in English (written & oral) is required, fluency in Dutch or any additional European languages would be an asset.
