This role in IT PMO at Snowflake will be responsible for driving and managing Projects in our Data Science Portfolio. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of multiple projects from planning through launch. You will own the project plan/schedule/resource plans, driving deliverables and managing multiple project tracts with moderate to high levels of business and/or technical complexity and risk. As a Senior TPM - you will regularly interact with leadership and ensure the smooth delivery of projects in The Data Science portfolio. This role is not a remote work position and requires on-site presence at Snowflake.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Program Management
Lead and manage end-to-end data science programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
Translate Project objectives into detailed project plans (including scope, MVP, schedule and resource allocation), lead and successfully execute through strong collaboration and agile leadership
Track scheduled progress and revise as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project/program requirements, scope, risks and change management issues.
Ensure program risks are communicated to stakeholders and appropriately managed.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Embed in the data science leadership on the staff
Collaborate with senior leadership, data scientists, engineers, and business units to drive focus on enabling leading edge Data Science capabilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to translate the technical complexity of certain problems for non-technical stakeholders
Effective Communications across Business and IT domains for both Senior Management and Delivery teams
Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement best practices and methodologies for program management, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery.
Work on process/efficiency improvement initiatives in the PMO
Technical Coverage:
Own KPIs, metrics to measure the impact of AI/ML in a business context.
Help stagger and time box innovation, with emphasis on time to value.
Guide fast prototype development with sprints
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred
10+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on data science or machine learning initiatives. Proven track record of delivering business value.
Technical Expertise
Technical knowledge of data science methodologies, AI/ML tools, and best practices.
Up to date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning and ability to target improvements in Data Science solutions
Familiar with Applied Research
Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
Successful experience working, collaborating, and establishing credibility and relationships with leadership, colleagues, and clients.
Ability to adapt, to be flexible, and to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams.
Relevant certifications preferred (PMP, PMI, Agile)

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated base salary range for this role is $169,000 - $241,500.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
