As a subject matter expert, you will be an integral member of a dynamic, hardworking, production focused team dedicated to the success of CIBC Trade clients on a global basis. The role is located in Montreal and works closely with internal partners in Capital Markets, Commercial Banking, Small Business Banking and Retail Banking. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._ Agent @ Home Program Requirements + Ability to work independently in a private and quiet workspace (ie. in a room or office with a door that closes) + Wired Internet connection capable of continuously supporting excellent call quality and high-speed response rate (internet connection can be connected to modem through hard cable (not wireless) with a minimum download speed of 15 mbps and upload speed of 10 mbps) + Satellite Internet providers are prohibited and cannot be used due to the impact on call quality and the stability of service. **How You’ll Succeed** + Demonstrate a keen understanding of Documentary Credits (Exports & Imports) and Documentary Collections and associated ICC Rules and Regulations i.e. UCP600 and URC522. Nice to have good knowledge of Standby LCs and Guarantees. + Master all aspects of the internal technology platforms i.e. Trade360 and adhere to the documented operational procedures and regulatory standards. + Contribute to ad hoc projects as assigned; this is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeaner in support of CIBC’s stated values of Trust, Teamwork and Accountability.
