In the role of Senior Traffic Project Manager, we'll count on you to:Assist in the responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.Provide design oversight for the production of roadway, lighting, signing, pavement marking, traffic signals and traffic management system design plans; intersection design; capacity and signal warrant analyses; and all aspects of an Intelligent Traffic Sub-systemAssist in providing oversight of the traffic control and sequencing plans throughout the construction phase of the projectServe as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of greater scope and complexity while planning and developing projects or design activities that have significant impact on major company programsOrganize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and technicians as neededAssist with administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sectionsbe involved in marketing, planning, proposals and interviewsAssist in ensuring that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systemBe directly involved with industrial and project clients in marketing, production and related issuesImplement, monitor and support company policyAssist in the selection, training, development and management of technical personnelWork cooperatively with the National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing production effortsMay function as project manager and assist in responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities., though project managementPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMSCEDiverse experience in related fields such as toll roads, roadway design, or construction is a plusRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeA minimum of 10 years' experience in ITS and traffic engineering for urban and rural highways, major and minor interchanges and intersectionsProfessional Engineer (PE) license Knowledge of regulations of state and federal transportation agenciesProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExperience using HCS, CORSIM, Synchro/SIM Traffic and other software packagesStrong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and ability to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
