A day in the Life:
Participates in the development and implementation of projects, work methods, and procedures for a departmental team.Liaises with management and ensures department administrative needs are met.May serve as lead coordinator for training and learning programs and other department services per business needs.Queries, compiles, enters, tracks and maintains electronic data and records management systems supporting department programs and processes.Coordinates the booking, setup, registration, and conduct of local and global department level meetings and conferences.Researches, develops and writes resource, cost and price point proposals for department product and service offerings.Purchases, tracks, manages and coordinates delivery of supplies and training and other program support materials, and maintains accurate accounting and transactional records.Liaises with other corporate departments for filing, tracking and follow-up in support of the development of internal and external client offerings.Provides logistical support for travel arrangements as needed.Recommends procedural changes that improve efficiencies, and/or flags potential issues and proactively escalates them as appropriate.Education and Experience:
High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 4 years).In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office software and tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, and other corporate software platformsStrong verbal and written communications skillsThorough ability to prioritize and multitaskStrong attention to detailExcellent time management and organizational skillsProven ability to deal professionally with sensitive and complex informationWillingness and ability to oversee, manage and/or perform manual or administrative tasks such as packing and moving boxes, copying, filing, collating, and shippingDemonstrated ability to work in a collaborative and cross functional, multi-cultural global team environmentCapable of supporting business unit and team collaborative meetings and presentationsWork Environment
